Artemis

Full-Length Dark Comedy: 80 mins: 2M, 5F

There’s a lot of twin-talk at the beginnings of the seething morass of Western civilization. Those identical (or fraternal) pairs were supernatural creatures, people said. Their birth was a good omen, a bad omen, always evil, a gift from the gods, basically inconsequential, so on and so forth, depending on the person one asked. Artemis deals with the emotional bonds and psychosexual tensions between twins by revising the Classical myth of the goddess Artemis, her twin brother Apollo, and the hunter Orion. It’s a love story between the goddess and her “other half” – assuming she can decide which man her “other half” happens to be.
